Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence
Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to highlight diversity and coexistence. The event, organised by Fundación Madrid Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.
Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
